To get into tip-top shape you always have to keep your muscles guessing. Trying new workouts and varying your routine will keep your body challenged and your mind engaged. You can do this without spending a ton by using timed deal websites. This way, you can get a class or several at a discount while varying your routine. I subscribe to dozens of daily deal emails and find that you can create for yourself an Olympic-athlete-style training program for about as much as you’d pay for a gym membership.
If you’re new to daily deal websites, start by signing up for Groupon and LivingSocial. These sites are both consistent when it comes to frequently updating its deals, and they’re easy to navigate. I have the app for both, which makes printing out the deals when I redeem them not necessary.
Lifebooker: This is my go-to website for scheduling hair services, but the website also features personal training sessions or other offers like local bootcamps. Lifebooker offers both discounted services and regular priced services in your area. If you’re looking for a bargain make sure you filter for discounted services only.
Yipit: Yipit is an aggregator. Sift through fitness deals to find ones in your area. You can also search by category — yoga, pilates, bootcamp, etc.
Dealupa: Another daily deal aggregator, you can search by newest deals or price.
Gilt City: This timed deal site offers a small selection of deals but often features fitness classes.
You can also typically get a free class or two when you check out a new gym. They might make you fill out paperwork so take a new class to make it worth your time.
You can also create an account on Meetup.com and sign-up for free group runs or yoga classes. Calvin Klein Performance, Athleta and Lululemon stores also offer free yoga classes as well.
